Las Vegas is a big city full of bright lights. There are lots of things to see and do. Las Vegas is in Nevada and in the desert. That means there isn't a lot of rain. It was very cool to see the desert and mountains!

We visited Las Vegas at night and during the day. There are many things to see. There are many hotels and stores.

We got to do some really neat things:

  • stay in a house with a pool

  • see the fountains at the Bellagio

  • explore the Grand Canyon

  • see the Hoover Dam

  • watch the Tournament of Kings live show

  • play in the Excalibur pool

  • ride on the rides at Circus Circus

  • eat at a buffet lunch

We flew on a plane to get to Las Vegas. It took 4 hours! We stayed in a house with a pool.

My mom said because we went in the off time, we got a great deal on a house with a pool!

We drove to where the hotels are. This is called the Strip. I liked going inside some of the hotels.

Las Vegas Strip (from https://www.tripsavvy.com/)

The Venetian had gondola boat rides and looked like an Italian village. Mandalay Bay had an aquarium in it. At the Bellagio, we watched a the fountains dance to music. We saw a volcano erupt at The Mirage. Caesar's Palace looked like a Roman city with a sky! It had a curved escalator. Another hotel felt like we were walking in New York City. Circus Circus had a acrobats swinging and an amusement park. In Excalibur, we walked into a medieval castle. We walked into a black pyramid in Egypt! We rode a monorail above the street from one hotel to another. There were so many cool hotels!

The Bellagio has fountains that dance to music.
Caesar's Palace has a Roman City with a fake sky!
Circus Circus has acrobats and an amusement park.
Excalibur is a castle with a dragon! I felt like a princess.

Las Vegas became a town when they were building the Hoover Dam. In the summer it can be very hot. We visited Las Vegas in March. It was nice. It was warm enough to go swimming. At night it got cold and I wore a jacket to go outside. I really liked Las Vegas. I hope you can visit Las Vegas.

Have you ever stayed in a cool hotel? Tell me below.

Check out my pictures of Las Vegas! There was so much to see an do. I can't wait to go back!
