Visiting Halley was pretty cool. It was very green there and very hilly. The hills go right into the ocean. Haiti is a country in the Caribbean.

It is an island. Haiti shares the island with another country called the Dominican Republic.

The port is a place cruise ships stop. A port is a place cruise ships stop and people get off. There were many things to do in the port. My mom said there were many activities like snorkeling, swimming at the beach, zip lining, and fishing. I wanted to go zip lining, but I was too small.

In the port there is a market, a beach, and a splash pad.
We looked at all of the things for sale in the market. A lot of the things look like they were handmade. We picked out a Christmas ornament. We picked out a magnet. My mom gets a Christmas ornament and a magnet from all of the places we travel to.

Then we went to the beach and played in the water. The water was very clear and blue-green. I could see the sand on the bottom. It was warm, too. I met a friend and played in the water.

My brother played on the splash pad next to the beach. There were spray guns and fountains. It looked fun, but I had fun swimming with my friend.

My mom said it was time to go back to the ship and we had to leave. Visiting Haiti was a lot of fun. I liked to see the people dance and sing.
Do you want to visit Haiti? What do you want to do when you are there? Swim on the beach, visit the market, or play in the splash pad?
Here are some more pictures of the Port Labadee in Haiti.
