My mom signed us up for a snorkeling excursion. An excursion is an activity you go on in the port. When we got off the ship, we saw people dancing and singing. The people in Haiti are very nice.

We got on a boat just for snorkeling. The driver of the boat told to us about Haiti and the people there. He drove the boat for 20 minutes until we got to a special snorkeling spot.

The driver of the boat told us about Haiti.

The driver of the boat stopped and put down an anchor. He showed us how to put on our snorkeling equipment. And how to get into the water safely. I have never been snorkeling before. Have you?

When you snorkel, you wear a mask and life jacket. You float on top of the water. The water was clear but everything was very brown. We saw brown fish and brown plants on the bottom of the ocean.

I wasn't scared until I saw the jellyfish. When I saw the jellyfish I swam to the boat and got out. My brother and my dad snorkeled a little longer. Then my brother got out. And we had some juice and Cheerios.

Everyone got onto the boat and took off their snorkeling equipment. We sailed back to the port. We explored Port Labadee and swam in the ocean. It was fun and relaxing after a long boat trip.

Hi, I'm Emilee. I'm in third grade. I love to travel and see everything I can see. My family likes to travel in a plane, car, camper or ship to get to new places. I know some kids aren't able to travel, I hope you can travel with me through my blog. Or maybe you are scared of your trip and this makes you feel better!
