Pools are the best when cruising

I love to cruise. I think it is one of my favorite type of vacations! I love to go to new places and see new things, but I think the best part is the cool stuff to do on the ship.

My favorite thing to do on the cruise is play in the pool. I love to play in the water. It is salt water, so it tastes funny. The pool has a flat part that has a little bit of water and then a deep part. I can't touch in the deep part, but its okay, I can swim. If you can't swim well, there are life jackets you can wear.

They have hot tubs, too! They let the kids get in the hot tubs but they are not for playing. My dad says you have to sit and relax. Don't worry, the water is not that hot. It is like taking a big bath.

On one ship we went on, there were no slides to play on, but there was a whirlpool. It swirled around and around in a circle. I liked to float and the current would put you around the pool. It is kind of like a lazy river only there are no tubes and it is much smaller, but a lot of fun!

On another ship there was a kids area. The kids area had a slide and a spray pad. It was fun to spray my brother. You have to tall enough to ride the slide. My brother, Asher was 3 and couldn't ride the slide, but when he was 5 he was tall enough! That made him happy.

Some cruise ships have big tube slides for grown-ups. You have to be very tall to ride on those slides. My dad says our next cruise will have a big slide. He says I should be tall enough to ride the slides. I am very excited!
