This is a super cool thing to do when you are in Canada at Niagra Falls. You can see it as part of the Wonder Pass (my mom really liked the Wonder Pass deal.)

The Journey Behind the Falls starts in an elevator and goes way down to the bottom of the falls. It was colder there then up on top. My mom thought it would be wet and made us where rain jackets but it wasn't wet.

Because it was January, you couldn't go outside. They let you go outside when it is warmer out and you get very wet! We did get to see the falls coming over the side of the cliff. We also got to see the Horseshoe falls at the bottom. The middle of the falls was very cloudy because of all the water coming over. It was very loud like thunder and the tunnels were very wet.

There was a really long tunnel to two places you could see behind the falls. It looked like a white wall. You could put pennies in the tunnel and make a wish. I made a wish.

I really liked exploring the tunnels. There was a place where you could see the old tunnels. They looked old and were held up by wood posts. The tunnels we were in were concrete. Much safer!

I think the Journey Behind the Falls was one of my favorite things to do in Niagara Falls. I am really glad we got to do it!

Here are more pictures of our journey beh

ind the falls.

Hi, I'm Emilee. I'm in third grade. I love to travel and see everything I can see. My family likes to travel in a plane, car, camper or ship to get to new places. I know some kids aren't able to travel, I hope you can travel with me through my blog. Or maybe you are scared of your trip and this makes you feel better!
