If you are in Niagara Falls, go see the Butterflies. It is part of the Wonder Pass and you can ride the bus there.

We took the bus to the Butterfly Conservatory. It was a long ride and way to far to walk. The bus was very long. It was 2 buses in one! It was connected in the middle by a plate that moved when the bus moved. I rode the bus on the moving plate, it was so cool.

When we got to the butterfly conservatory, there were large silver walls with colored lights. We watched a video about butterflies.

There are 45 different kinds of butterflies. Big and small ones. Very colorful ones. They were flying everywhere! the temperature was very warm because butterflies like it warm and not cold. You had to watch where you were going so not to step on them. Sometimes they would land on you and you have to move slowly so not to scare them. There were lots of places for the butterflies to eat. If they were eating you could watch but not bother them.

They also had a place where the caterpillars made cocoons. The cocoons held the caterpillars as they turned into butterflies.

The conservatory has 45 different kinds of butterflies. A conservatory protects plants and animals. The people there feed the butterflies and keep them safe. They also help new butterflies grow from caterpillars. you have a design in mind for your blog? The butterflies are very beautiful.

Do you like butterflies? Have you been to a butterfly conservatory?

Check out some more pictures at the Butterfly Conservatory.

My family likes to travel in a plane, car, camper or ship to get to new places. I know some kids aren't able to travel, I hope you can travel with me through my blog. Or maybe you are scared of your trip and this makes you feel better!
